I designed and built this website for a life transition coach who helps women navigate change with clarity and confidence—whether it’s career shifts, motherhood, divorce, or rediscovering purpose. The site blends calming design elements with compelling calls to action, creating a space that feels both safe and empowering. Clear navigation, intuitive pathways, and emotionally resonant messaging work together to support lead generation and meaningful connection. This women’s transition coach website is fully responsive and optimised for search, ready to grow alongside the coaching practice.

A responsive women’s transition coach website shown in both desktop and mobile views—designed to inspire trust and connection on any device. Mobile-friendly design is essential for attracting and converting coaching clients.
Objectives
Present Janet in a professional manner
The website was designed to reflect Janet’s credibility, warmth, and professionalism as a women’s transition coach. Through intentional design choices—such as clean layouts, calming color schemes, and high-quality imagery—the site helps visitors immediately feel a sense of trust and clarity. Carefully written copy and testimonials also reinforce Janet’s expertise, creating a first impression that is both welcoming and authoritative. Every element of the site works together to present Janet not just as a coach, but as a supportive guide during pivotal life transitions.
Accept online bookings for Janet’s services
To streamline the client journey, the website includes integrated online booking functionality, allowing visitors to schedule sessions directly from the site. This reduces friction for prospective clients and ensures that those feeling ready to take the next step can do so with ease. Whether browsing on desktop or mobile, users can view availability and book instantly—making it simple and convenient to begin working with Janet without the need for back-and-forth emails or phone calls.
Reduce Janet’s admin time by providing FAQs
To minimise repetitive inquiries and free up Janet’s time for client work, the website features a clear, accessible FAQ section. This area answers common questions about coaching services, session formats, pricing, and what to expect—helping visitors feel informed and reassured. By addressing these topics proactively, the site not only builds trust but also reduces the volume of administrative tasks, allowing Janet to focus more energy on meaningful client interactions.
Outcomes of designing this women’s transition coach website
What were you going through before you initiated this project with Lou?
My domain and web host were set-up, but I continued to put-off the website design for a year. The website was essentially non-existent.
I tried to self-publish but it was taking ages and looked really amateur. Not the image I wanted to project
How did it make you feel when you connected with Lou to work on this project?
It felt great to connect with Lou because she was really calm – she listened and asked good questions which made me realise I hadn’t given this enough thought.
What does having this website enable for your business that it didn’t before? Why is this important?
Having the website has been a great way to articulate my business identity and direction. Before this I was constantly trying to explain everything but this way I can focus on a few key messages and refer them to my website
How do you feel now about your business being online?
I have quite a particular niche – midlife women looking at meaning and purpose in the years before/ after retirement – so it’s important that I can connect with people wherever they are.
I can’t be available 24/7 (very few clients are in my timezone) so it’s important that my clients can access informations, make bookings etc when it suits them.
The website Lou developed for me is really easy to update, so I can manage my content and be responsive to what my clients are interested in.
Some tips – you get out what you put in.
Lou is a website designer, which means she works with the content you give her. Have a really good think about your audience and what they need from you – even if you write well, it’s a game changer to work with a web content specialist and maybe even a copywriter.
When I started, I didn’t think there’d be much work to do, but I soon realised I had to be actively involved. The upside is that the process really clarifies your value offering and makes those networking conversations so much easier.
