Come and join the Town Square BBS. A new take on a classic style of internet community, the bulletin board system (BBS). This will be an alternative business community that respects and accepts your differences.
Business owners who consider themselves “alternative” (queer, neurodivergent, BIPOC, don’t fit into norms) are welcome.
What is this and why?
Let’s face it, social media isn’t what it used to be.
You pretty much have to play by the algorithm, have great production value, and oftentimes pay to play.
It’s not fair to the small creators and small business owners.
That’s why I’m building a town square, just for us.
Who is ‘us’?
Specifically, it’s those who those who self-identify as ‘alternative’ or otherwise marginalised. This may include:
- Neurodivergent
- Disabled
- BIPOC
- LGBTQIA/queer
As someone who identifies with a mix of these labels myself, I know what it’s like to feel like the “other” in the room. But in my town square? There’s no such thing.

The forum isn’t available yet! At this stage, I’m just gauging interest before I start designing and developing the forum website.
