When Your Divi Site Hits a Wall: Expert Rescue for Lasting Solutions
Is your Divi-powered website struggling with slow load times, tangled shortcode messes, unexpected layout shifts, or features that abruptly stopped working after an update? These common frustrations can feel like hitting a wall, especially when quick fixes only lead to recurring issues.
You don’t need just another developer to “try” fixing things hour by hour. What you need is a Divi specialist who thoroughly audits your site’s foundation, pinpoints the root causes, and implements lasting solutions — so the problems don’t come back.
Let me rescue your Divi site with expert care and precision.
I Know Divi From the Inside Out
From 2018 to 2019, I worked as a web designer building websites exclusively for veterinary clinics across Australia. My job was to create new sites and migrate existing ones onto the Divi builder — and while we had a template to start from, my team and I made a point of pushing beyond it. Every client had a distinct brand, and their website needed to reflect that.
When I applied for the role, I made one thing clear: “I want to make you proud by making Divi websites that don’t look like a fresh, un-styled Divi install.” That mindset stuck. Over that time, I got to know Divi deeply — not just how to use it, but how to bend it to a brief without it looking like a theme straight out of the box.

Side note: This service is specifically for people who have already committed to a Divi build and need it tidied up. If you’re starting from scratch and want a new website, I’d likely steer you toward my own theme — but that’s a different conversation. If you’re here, you’ve got a Divi site, and I’m here to make it look the way it always should have.
Simple Process, No Surprises
Step 1 — Say Hello
Reach out with a brief description of what’s going on with your site. You can send me an email, or if it’s easier, fire off a quick voice or video message via VideoAsk. No need to write an essay — a quick overview of the situation is plenty.
Step 2 — We Figure Out If It’s a Good Fit
If your situation needs a bit more discussion before we dive in, I’ll invite you to a short discovery call. If you’re comfortable giving me the creative latitude to make things look better — without needing to spec out every detail — we can get moving quickly.
Step 3 — I Set the Scene
For sites that are actively taking orders or capturing leads, I may set up a staging environment before touching anything. If your site has significant issues, I’d rather fix things safely than risk disrupting your live site.
Step 4 — You Book Your Day
Choose a half-day or a full day. That time is reserved exclusively for you — I won’t be splitting my attention across other clients. I work remotely from my own space, so there’s no need to be on Zoom with me all day, and I won’t be showing up at your office.
Step 5 — Deposit, Scope, and Sign-off
I don’t start work until a deposit is received. You’ll get a clear scope of work to review and sign off on, so we’re both aligned on what’s being done. Full payment is due once I’ve completed everything outlined in the scope.
This engagement is subject to the terms outlined in my WordPress Support Terms of Service.
Pricing
I don’t bill by the hour because “quick fixes” often leave the root cause untouched. Instead, I offer dedicated blocks of time where your website is my sole focus. We move fast, cut the bloat, and ensure your Divi site is actually working for your business.

Which one do I need?
Not sure? We can work it out when you get in touch. A good rule of thumb: if the problems are spread across your whole site, or everything feels slow, book the Full Day. It gives me the time to fix the cause, not just the symptoms.
Get Your Divi Site Sorted by an Expert
Send me a quick email with a brief description of your site and what’s bothering you about it. Prefer to talk? Send a voice message instead. Sometimes it’s just easier to explain out loud.
FAQs
What’s included in a VIP intensive — and what isn’t?
Each intensive is scoped to one focused outcome — the thing we agreed on before we start. You’ll know exactly what we’re building or fixing before the day begins, and I’ll deliver it fully completed. What’s not included: scope creep. If we uncover something unrelated during the session, I’ll flag it and we can address it in a future intensive. This keeps the work sharp and actually finished.
How do I know which option is right for me?
Divi work is tricky to price per page because pages vary so much — a simple text page and a module-heavy sales page are completely different jobs. Here’s a rough guide:
The Half-Day works well if you have:
- 1–4 pages that need attention
- Specific layout issues — misaligned sections, spacing that’s off, elements that aren’t behaving
- A simple landing page and thank you page to build for a specific campaign
The Full-Day is the right fit if you need:
- Mobile rendering reviewed and fixed across a whole site
- 4–8 pages looked over, especially if they’re media-heavy or loaded with modules
- A set of campaign landing pages (think 6–8) that all need to look right on every device
If you’re not sure, tell me how many pages are involved and what they contain — I’ll give you a straight answer on which option makes sense.
Will my site be down during the fix?
No, your site won’t be shut down while I’m working on it. My workflow is designed to protect your live business presence at all times. I work “offline” to ensure your visitors never see a broken layout or a maintenance screen.
- If you have a staging site: I will perform all repairs and optimisations there first. This allows you to review the changes in a “safe” environment before we push them live.
- If you don’t have staging: I will clone your site to my local professional environment (on my private computer). Because this environment is local, I won’t be able to send you “live” links for real-time updates while I work, but I will provide a full walkthrough once the “Surgery” is complete and ready to be migrated back to your server.
Do I need to be available on the day?
No need to clear your schedule. I work remotely from my studio in Brunswick, so there’s no on-site visit and no need to sit with me while I work. Before we start, I’ll ask for admin access to your site and any other relevant accounts — then I get on with it. It’s helpful (but not essential) to be reachable via Telegram or email in case I have a quick question during the session. At the end, we’ll do a short walkthrough of everything that was done so you know exactly what changed and why.
Do I need to buy my own Divi license?
Possibly. To receive the critical security and feature updates that keep a Divi site healthy, you need a valid API key from Elegant Themes.
What do I need to prepare before we start?
To make the most of our time together, come ready with:
- WordPress admin access (and hosting access if relevant)
- A clear goal — what does “done well” look like for you?
- Your Divi license and any premium child theme or plugin details if relevant
- Access to Google Analytics or Search Console if SEO or performance is the focus
The more prepared you are, the further we get. I’ll send a short prep checklist when you book.
What happens after the intensive is done?
You’ll leave with a fully implemented result — not a report of recommendations, not a to-do list for you to action later. I document everything I’ve done so you have a clear record. If you want to continue building on the work, most clients book another intensive within a few weeks. There’s no lock-in, no retainer required — just book when you’re ready for the next step.
What if a new glitch appears after the day is done?
Once I’ve completed everything in the scope, there’s a 7-day bug fix window. If anything I worked on isn’t behaving as it should, I’ll jump back in and sort it out at no extra charge. After those 7 days, the engagement is closed. If you need more work done down the track, you’re welcome to book another session.
How does payment work?
You can pay the full amount upfront to lock in your spot, or split it 50/50 — half to secure the booking, and the remaining half once everything in the scope is delivered. Either way, nothing starts until the deposit is in place, and you won’t be asked for the final payment until the work is done and dusted.
Can I split the Full-Day into two Half-Days?
In short, no — and it’s worth explaining why. The Full-Day work is interconnected. Splitting it across two sessions means context gets lost, setup time doubles, and the result is rarely as clean. The Full-Day is priced the way it is because it’s designed to be done in one focused block. If budget is the concern, the Half-Day is a genuinely complete piece of work on its own — it’s not a cut-down version of the Full-Day.
